Technicians Class (Saved)

IF YOU’VE ALWAYS WANTED TO GET YOUR AMATEUR RADIO LICENSE, THIS IS THE COURSE FOR YOU!!!

Our class is not a Ham-Cram! We focus on passing the test, but also teach the principles so you will understand the answers.  The course includes six (6) 2-hour online Zoom sessions plus 2 in-person labs.

For the first lab, you will build your first antenna to keep. You will learn how to solder, strip coax cable, and tune an antenna. You will even have the opportunity to make a contact with it.

The second lab is our GOTA (Get On The Air) lab. We teach you the basics of how to use a radio and help you with your first transmission. We will show you the basic components and how to put them together to build your own Ham radio station.

Our next class starts on Tuesday, April 25,2023 , and only costs $40. The fee includes an ARRL Technician License Class manual and all the materials needed to make your own antenna.
